Council Meetings


Documents for each Council meeting are published below on this webpage as they become available.

The Council of the City of Westmount is formed by the Mayor and eight councillors, each representing one of the City’s eight electoral districts. The Council is the main governing and legislative body for the City. The Mayor and Councillors also sit on various standing committees and municipal organisations.

Questions for the Council Meeting

  • For regular Council meetings:
    • you may send your questions in advance by completing the online form, which will be available between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on the day of the meeting;
    • questions are also taken in person during question periods.
  • For special Council meetings, questions must be asked in person, during the question period, and must relate to the subjects on the agenda.
