The City of Westmount's Sports and Recreation Department organises seasonal activities programming for all ages.

Join us in Westmount Park on Thursdays from 10 to 11 a.m. for free classes:
Participants must bring their own yoga mat (Fitness and Yogalates), towel and water bottle. Classes will be held in Westmount Park, on the terrace across from the comfort station on Thursdays from 10 to 11 a.m., or indoors at Victoria Hall (4626 Sherbrooke Street West) during inclement weather.
The fall registration begins on August 5 for Westmount residents and on August 26 for non-residents. Registration is ongoing so long as there is space available.

The spring session begins on March 31, 2025. Registration is ongoing so long as there is space available.
To proceed with registration, your account must be active. All accounts are suspended at the end of the year, on December 31. Two recent proofs of residency must be presented to the Sports and Recreation team each year in order to activate your account.
Once the payment is made, a message appears on the screen to confirm the successful completion of the transaction.
Fees must be paid in full upon registration using one of the following: Visa or MasterCard. All taxes are included.
Please note, that registration priority will be given to Westmount residents.
Participants are strongly encouraged to register online. Should this not be possible, registration may be done in person or by proxy during office hours, or by mail or fax.

Non-residents may register for Westmount programmes and activities following the resident registration period (see dates related to the current programming). Please note, however, that non-residents must pay a fee surcharge of 50% for all programmes.

Any person aged 18 and over is required to provide two recent proofs of residency, dated within the last 3 months, along with one piece of photo identification.
Anyone between the ages of 4 and 17 is required to provide one proof of residency along with one proof of age.
Programmes with insufficient registration may be cancelled.When a programme is cancelled, all participants will be entitled to an automatic refund. Unless otherwise noted, minimum registration for all programmes is 10 participants.
For participants who withdraw from programmes, all refund requests must be submitted in writing and will be subject to a $15 administration fee.
The City of Westmount recognizes that persons with a disability have the same rights and needs as their fellow citizens, including the right to participate in community recreational activities. The City endeavours to ensure that there is no discrimination against any citizen and that facilities are accessible to all
It is the policy of the Westmount Sports and Recreation Department to integrate, where possible, persons with a disability into their regular programming. Persons with disabilities that register for an activity in Westmount may have a companion attend with them at no cost.
Interested parties are invited to contact recreation@westmount.org for information about potential participation or with ideas on inclusivity.
Each session will be filled with sports, team building and leadership activities, arts and crafts, swimming and water games, active outdoor play time and time to relax and hang out with friends.
Summer camp is for children 6 to 14 years old. Older children, 15 to 17 years old, may register as CITs (counsellors in training). Please contact the Sports and Recreation office for details at 514 989-5353 or at recreation@westmount.org. A valid health insurance card is required for all participants.
Priority for spaces is given to Westmount residents, and spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis. Non-residents may register their children one week prior to each camp session start date if space is available. Before registering, contact the Sports and Recreation office at 514 989-5353 to learn if there are any spaces available.
Over the years, the key to the success of Westmount’s sports and recreation programmes has been the involvement of keen volunteers from the community. Westmount is indeed fortunate to have residents who willingly give their time and expertise to help provide quality programmes and services, but there is never a shortage of tasks for new volunteers.
