Claremont Avenue Rehabilitation and Lorraine Avenue Reconstruction
Rehabilitation work on Claremont Avenue, between Lorraine Avenue and Sherbrooke Street, and the reconstruction of Lorraine Avenue will begin on July 13 and are expected to last approximately 9 weeks.
The project includes:
- the complete reconstruction of Lorraine Avenue;
- rehabilitation of the Claremont Avenue roadway;
- sidewalk reconstruction;
- replacement of the public lighting system;
- installation of a new sewer on Lorraine Avenue and service connections to adjacent properties.
During the work, on-street parking will be temporarily prohibited within the work zone, and access to driveways may be restricted at certain stages of the project. Pedestrian access to residences will be maintained at all times.
