The Green Team is back in Westmount!
Meet the student recruits behind Westmount's Green Team for summer 2026: Zoé and Sofia!
The Green Team’s mission is to inform, raise awareness, and educate residents about eco-responsible and sustainable habits, with a strong focus on proper waste management. Throughout the summer, you will see Green Team students around the city.
The Team carries out visual inspections of waste bins and distributes informative door-hangers. These are meant to help residents better understand what belongs—or not—in each collection, and to improve sorting practices. Team members will be going door to door to share practical tips and to answer your questions.
The Green Team will also be hosting kiosks at certain municipal events, including at Family Day on Saturday, May 30. Kiosks will address key topics related to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices. Stop by and say hello—the Green Team is here to help!
