New: Collection reminders!
Opt in to notifications in the Citizen Portal and never miss a collection date!
The City now offers residents the option of receiving personalized reminders, via the Citizen Portal, based on the specific collection schedule for their address. Registered residents will receive a reminder the day before each scheduled collection at the address linked in their account.
How to Sign Up
In three easy steps, you're all set!
- Create your account in the Citizen Portal.
- From your account, select My Municipal Notifications from the drop-down menu options located in the top left of your screen.
- On the Municipal Notifications page, make your selections:
- How would you like to be reached? Select one or several options.
- What types of notifications do you wish to receive? Select Collections to receive these new notifications.
From their dashboard in the Citizen Portal, residents also now benefit from an overview of upcoming collections and a personalized collection calendar for the current year. This calendar can be downloaded and printed, and the platform even offers the option of integrating it into a Gmail, Outlook, or Apple calendar with a single click.
Recurring reminders are programmed for landfill waste collection, recycling, food waste and garden waste. Punctual reminders will be sent for bulky item, Christmas tree, and other special collections, as well as special notices regarding changes to the waste collection schedule.
