Approximately 10 cm of snow fell during the day on January 15. The Public Works Department teams have completed snow clearing operations over the past few hours. They are currently spreading sand and salt on roads and sidewalks to ensure safe travel for residents.
The 5th snow loading operation of the 2025–2026 winter season will begin on Sunday, January 18, at 5:30 a.m., starting with commercial areas, school zones, and fire routes.
Snow clearing operations on streets and sidewalks have been completed. Spreading operations are currently underway to ensure safe travel for residents.
Snow from private driveways and sidewalks may be added to existing snowbanks prior to snow loading, provided it does not obstruct sidewalks, streets, or public access points.
Fines may be issued to property owners or contractors who do not comply with applicable regulations.
On collection days, waste and recycling materials must be placed so as not to interfere with snow removal operations.
