Gas-Powered Leaf Blowers - Amendment to the By-law on Nuisances and Public Order
At its October 6 meeting, City Council adopted By-law No. 1669, entitled By-law to Amend By-law No. 1475 Respecting Nuisances and Public Order.
This amendment clarifies the rules governing the use of gas-powered leaf blowers. Their use is permitted in April, October and November, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Outside these three months, the use of these devices remains prohibited, in accordance with the provisions of the by-law.
