Work on Clarke Avenue Begins September 22
Construction work will take place on Clarke Avenue, between Sherbrooke Street and De Maisonneuve Boulevard, starting Monday, September 22, for an estimated duration of 6 to 8 weeks, depending on weather conditions.
The work aims to repair Hydro Westmount’s underground infrastructure, including access shafts and electrical structure, on the east side of the avenue.
During the work:
- Northbound traffic will be closed during the work.
- Parkingwill be prohibited on the east side of Clarke Avenue within the construction zone.
- Waste collections (garbage, recycling, compost, etc.) will continue on their regular schedule.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained for residents and school users.
