No Traces of Asbestos on the City's Clay Tennis Courts
In recent days, several municipalities have had to close their clay tennis courts that were maintained with a product that may contain excessive levels of asbestos.
The City of Westmount does not use any products containing asbestos to maintain its clay tennis courts.Furthermore, tests conducted during the week of 13 August revealed that there were no traces of asbestos.
Residents with a valid access card to the facilities and their guests with a valid guest pass can therefore safely use the clay tennis courts.
