Time to Vote: Plan your commute

Elections are fast approaching. If your polling station is at Centre Greene (1090 Greene Avenue), it is important to plan your travel carefully. Greene Avenue is currently under construction, and an alternative route is recommended for accessing Centre Greene by car.

For drivers, here is the suggested route:

  • Travel along Dorchester Boulevard heading toward René-Lévesque Boulevard West;
  • Turn onto Greene Avenue (downhill);
  • Parking at Centre Greene remains accessible; or
  • It will only be possible to drop off people with reduced mobility at the entrance of Centre Greene;
  • To exit, head back up Greene Avenue and make a U-turn to rejoin Dorchester Boulevard.

Important: It is not possible to drive up Greene Avenue via Saint-Antoine West Street.

To facilitate your visit, a pathway reserved for pedestrians and cyclists is maintained between Columbia Avenue and Centre Greene. We strongly encourage you to walk or bike whenever possible.
