The Montreal Transit Union (maintenance employees) has announced a strike from November 1 to 28, 2025, which will affect STM metro and bus services. In accordance with the decision rendered by the Administrative Labour Tribunal (TAT), essential services will be maintained throughout this period. Service schedules will therefore be restricted every day,and transportation will be available only during the morning rush hour, afternoon rush hour, and late evening.

Important: The Administrative Labour Tribunal (ALT) has authorized the strike by the union representing drivers, operators, and station attendants, scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025. If no agreement is reached by that date, all service will be suspended on November 1.
⚠️Reduced transit services related to the strike will be in effect on November 2, the day of the municipal election. Voters are encouraged to plan their travel carefully.
