Summit Woods: Dogs off-leash periods, November 1 to April 15
Periods for walking your dog off-leash at Summit Woods change seasonally.
From November 1 to April 15, dog owners may walk their dogs off-leash in Summit Woods from 5 a.m. to midnight. Summit Woods is closed from midnight to 5 a.m.
The City also reminds dog owners that it is forbidden to bring or walk more than three dogs at a time in Summit Woods. Anyone failing to control their dog or pick up after their dog is liable to a fine.
All dogs in Summit Woods must wear a valid dog tag issued by the City of Westmount.
Public Safety officers will conduct patrols to ensure compliance with the by-law.
