Fridges, freezers, wine fridges and wine coolers now collected yearlong by GoRecycle!
Refrigerators, freezers, wine fridges and wine coolers will now be collected free of charge at your home by GoRecycle, yearlong. To schedule a collection, you must fill out the registration form on their website.
The City of Westmount will continue to accept the following items for the monthly bulky items collection: dehumidifiers, portable and window air conditioners, water coolers, as well as wooden and ceramic items. A reminder that the collection takes place up to and including October and is by registration only.
Did you know? Each refrigerated appliance left at the curb generates an average of 1 ton of greenhouse gases (GHGs), equivalent to a round-trip flight from Montreal to Barcelona! Responsible disposal of your refrigeration appliances is a positive gesture for the environment.
