Ville de Montréal: Rehabilitation work on Sherbrooke Street and Wood Avenue

Construction signalisation

Starting April 30, 2025, rehabilitation and reconstruction work on valve chambers will take place on Sherbrooke Street, between Elm Avenue and Atwater Avenue, and on Wood Avenue, between Sherbrooke Street and Barat Road. These interventions are essential to ensure the reliability of the infrastructure. The work is expected to be completed by the end of May 2025.

Traffic and Parking Impacts

Sherbrooke Street:

  • Only one westbound lane (in the opposite direction) will remain open
  • Two eastbound lanes will be maintained

Wood Avenue:

  • Complete closure of the northbound direction, between Sherbrooke Street and Barat Road

Parking:

  • On-street parking will be prohibited for the entire duration of the work

For your safety and the safety of the workers, please respect all posted signs (detours, local traffic, etc.).

Water Supply Interruptions

Temporary interruptions of the drinking water supply are to be expected.
Buildings affected will receive a notice 48 hours in advance.

Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m
