Ville de Montréal: Reconstruction work on a water main continues on Atwater Avenue
The Ville de Montréal will continue the reconstruction of a water main on Atwater Avenue as part of a multi-phase project. The third phase of the work is scheduled from August 3 to September 1, 2026, on Atwater Avenue between René-Lévesque Boulevard West and Saint-Antoine Street West.
This work is being carried out to ensure the reliability of the water distribution system and to maintain the safety and integrity of municipal infrastructure in the area.
Traffic disruptions are expected, including the closure of the east-side lanes on Atwater Avenue and counterflow traffic on the west side, with one northbound lane and two southbound lanes maintained.
Temporary water service interruptions may be required for residents and businesses in the area.
