The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility informs road users that repair work on the elevated structures of Route 136, between Greene Avenue and the entrance to the Ville-Marie Tunnel, will require a full closure of the westbound lanes during the weekend of May 30. This closure will occur between Robert-Bourassa Boulevard and the entrance from Fort Street. The closure is necessary to continue ongoing concrete work.
From Friday, May 30 at 11:59 p.m. until Monday, June 2 at 5:00 a.m.
Complete closure of Route 136 West between Exit 5 (A-10 / R-112 / R.-Bourassa Blvd / Champlain and Victoria Bridges) and the Fort Street entrance.
Recommended detour: Robert-Bourassa Boulevard toward Autoroute 10 (Bonaventure) East, then take Exit 4 to Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard, continuing to the entrance for Autoroute 15 North.
Closure of Route 136 West entrances from Saint-Antoine East Street and Lucien-L’Allier Street.
Closures may be canceled or postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions or operational constraints. Also, traffic congestion is expected, particularly toward the airport. Road users are advised to plan ahead and check Québec 511 before travelling.
Please note: additional closures of Route 136 West are scheduled through the end of June.
