Reconstruction of Avenue Claremont: Share your comments until February 3, 2025

Map of the reconstruction zone on Avenue Claremont

The public is invited to share their comments on the preferred reconstruction scenario by February 3, 2025.

The City of Westmount is planning major infrastructure work in 2025 on Avenue Claremont north of Rue Sherbrooke, including the triangle formed with Avenue Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and Avenue Westmount, and Avenue Lorraine. This project offers a great opportunity to comprehensively assess the area to improve underground infrastructure capacity, manage stormwater more effectively, and develop green spaces.

Public consultations were held in the spring and fall of 2024 to present the project as well as preliminary designs.

At an information session held on January 30, 2025, the public was invited to discover the preferred scenario for the reconstruction project. The public is also invited to share their comments on the preferred scenario until Monday, February 3, via an online form.
