Sherbrooke Street will be closed to traffic from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. on the nights of August 25 and 26 to allow for final paving work.
The final phase of infrastructure work on Sherbrooke Street, between the City’s western limits and Grosvenor Avenue, is set to begin during the week of August 25, 2025. The work will take place in multiple stages, including both daytime and nighttime operations, to minimize disruptions and ensure completion on schedule.
This phase will include asphalt paving, along with:
Daytime Work
One lane will remain open in each direction during the day, though on-street parking will be temporarily prohibited while work is underway.
Overnight Work
Night work is planned for Monday, August 25, and Tuesday, August 26, from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m., weather permitting.
During these hours, this section of Sherbrooke Street will be fully closed to vehicular traffic. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times, and traffic control personnel will be on site to ensure safety.
