Inventory of Buildings with Heritage Value Built Before 1940
At the September 8, 2025 meeting, the City adopted, by resolution, a list of buildings constructed before 1940 with heritage value, developed in collaboration with the Montreal Agglomeration. This initiative is part of the Cultural Heritage Act, amended in 2021, aimed at better protecting buildings of heritage interest.
The list will become official once it is adopted by the Montreal Agglomeration Council in 2026.
