Interested in Running for Municipal Office? Info Session on May 14 and 29
The Secrétariat à la région métropolitaine of the Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l'Habitation du Québec (MAMH) will hold public information sessions for individuals considering running in the upcoming municipal elections.
Information sessions will take place in a webinar format, on May 14, 2025, at 5 p.m., and on May 29, 2025, at 2 p.m. Each session will provide an overview of the roles and responsibilities of elected officials, the structure of municipal governance, the candidacy process, and the support resources available following the election.
