Voting

There will be three (3) voting days in the municipality:

  • Voting at the Returning Officer’s office will take place on October 24, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Victoria Hall Community Centre, for all districts;
  • Advance voting will take place on Sunday, October 26, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.;
  • Election Day will be Sunday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Other voting option available upon request

Individuals who are unable to travel due to health reasons may request that a mobile voting team visit them. Eligible voters must make this request to the Returning Officer no later than October 17, 2025.

Distribution of notice of voter reminder cards

Due to the ongoing strike at Canada Post, the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer will implement all necessary measures to ensure that voters receive their notice of entry on the electoral list. This notice, which will be sent to all addresses within the City, will indicate:

  • the names of the voters registered at that address on the electoral list;
  • the locations, dates, and times for the revision of the electoral list.

If the strike continues, municipal employees will carry out door-to-door distribution of reminder cards to all registered voters, starting on October 9.

If any of the information appearing on this notice is incomplete or incorrect, the voter must present themselves before the Revision Board to request, as applicable, a registration, a correction, or a removal. The revision will take place on October 16, 17, and 21. The Revision Board’s schedule is available on the City’s website

In addition, any voter may verify their registration in one of the following ways:

  • By consulting the Elections Québec website
  • In person at City Hall during opening hours on October 6, 8, 14 or 15
  • By calling 514-989-5280
