On Thursday, March 20, 2025, the Royal Montreal Regiment in Westmount hosted the ceremony for the presentation of the King Charles III Coronation Medal.

This special commemorative distinction honours Canadians who have made remarkable contributions to their local communities or internationally. It celebrates their achievements, dedication, and commitment to the well-being of Canadian society.

Among the 30 recipients of the evening was Ms. Christina Smith, Mayor of Westmount, whose commitment to the community and leadership in municipal politics were mainly acknowledged. Two city employees also received this prestigious recognition for their dedication to the community: Mr. Andrew Maislin, Division Head of Operations and Sports Facilities, and Ms. Mai Jay, Librarian at the Information Services.

Sincere congratulations to all the recipients!
