Recyclable materials (blue bin) are collected once weekly for all addresses, on Wednesdays.
Food waste (green bin) is collected once weekly.
During the summer, garden waste is collected once weekly for street side addresses, and once weekly for lane side addresses.
You may also bring your garden waste to the Belvedere depot upon presentation of a proof of residence or a valid contractor permit granted by the City.

Collection is scheduled on the first Tuesday of the month, by registration only, from May to October.
From June 16 to October 31, the periods for walking your dog on or off leash at Summit Woods are as follows:
A person may be responsible for a maximum of 4 dogs at a time. All dogs must have a valid Westmount dog licence.

The summer session begins on June 23. Registration is ongoing so long as there is space available.
Registration for fall activities begins on August 4 for Westmount residents.
From June 22 to August 14, 2026, the City's summer day camp is offered by registration to children 6 to 14 years old. Older children, 15 to 17 years old, may register as CITs (counsellors in training).
Priority for spaces is given to Westmount residents, and spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis. Non-residents may register their children one week prior to each camp session start date, if space is available.
The outdoor pool at the Westmount Recreation Centre is open for the season until Labour Day.
To access the pool, a valid Facility Membership Card or guest pass is mandatory at all times. Guest passes for general swim can be purchased at the pool desk (debit or credit only) for same-day use.
Play racket sports in Westmount parks:
Use of these courts is reserved for Westmount residents with a valid Facility Access Card and guests with a valid guest pass.
The City of Westmount is aligning with the Ville de Montréal’s directives to support the regional effort to reduce peak drinking water demand and relieve pressure on the water supply system while the McTavish supply corridor is operating with reduced redundancy.
