REDUCE ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION DURING EXTREME COLD WEATHER
High electricity demand occurs during periods of extreme cold. This can lead to circuit overloads and power interruptions. When the temperature reaches -18°C, Hydro Westmount asks its customers to reduce their electrical energy consumption during peak hours: Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
