Sidewalk Rehabilitation Work on Sainte-Catherine Street
The City of Westmount will carry out sidewalk rehabilitation work on the north side of Sainte-Catherine Street, between Wood Avenue and the eastern city limit, starting Monday, September 29, 2025, for an estimated duration of six weeks.
Work description:
- Reconstruction of lighting conduits and replacement of streetlights
- Complete reconstruction of sidewalks
Expected impacts:
- Parking prohibited within the construction zone for the duration of the work
- Pedestrian access maintained to residences and businesses
- Waste collection (garbage, recycling, compost) will continue according to the regular schedule
Specific measures will be implemented in coordination with the property managers of the Alexis Nihon complex and 1 Wood Avenue to ensure uninterrupted waste collection services.
