The City of Westmount is taking a key step forward to improve safety for children and their families!

Following mobility and safety studies, as well as public consultations, the City is implementing a plan to improve safety on commuter routes to schools in the City Hall area. The project aims to calm traffic and make travel safer in school zones. It includes the introduction of one-way traffic on portions of Argyle, Metcalfe, and Kensington avenues starting in July 2026.
