The City will undertake rehabilitation work on Grosvenor Avenue, between The Boulevard and the northern city limit, beginning on May 1, 2026, with completion expected in approximately 15 weeks.
The project includes the replacement of water service connections, rehabilitation of the water main, reconstruction of sidewalks, repairs to the concrete road base, and upgrades to street lighting and hydro infrastructure. These interventions aim to improve safety, accessibility, and the long-term durability of the road and utilities.
During the work, on-street parking will be prohibited within the construction zone.
While construction is underway, Grosvenor Ave. will temporarily become a two-way street, open to local traffic only. Residents living on Grosvenor Ave. between Queen Mary Rd. and Sunnyside Ave. will be able to access the street exclusively via Queen Mary Rd. Pedestrian access to residences will be maintained at all times, while driveway access may be temporarily restricted with prior notice.
