STM Strike: June 9 to 17, 2025
The Montreal Transit Union (maintenance employees) has announced a strike from June 9 to 17, 2025, which will affect STM bus and metro services.
An essential services agreement has been reached and submitted to the Administrative Labour Tribunal (TAT). It includes the following measures:
- Full continuation of adapted transit services at all times
- Partial service on bus and metro lines
- Additional provisions to support the smooth operation of Montreal’s F1 Grand Prix festivities
The STM has committed to keeping the public informed of any updates regarding service levels throughout the strike.
