Bell Let's Talk Day on January 22, 2025

Bell Let's Talk flag

On January 22, 2025, the City of Westmount is marking the 15th annual Bell Let's Talk day for mental health.

The priority of the 2025 campaign is the youth mental health crisis. This national campaign invites Canadians to make a donation by text message, and proceeds will support organizations that offer mental health services for young people.

Up to 75% of mental health issues develop before the age of 24*, making young people particularly vulnerable. This reality is even more striking when we consider the tragic statistic that suicide is responsible for 21% of deaths among young Canadians, according to a study by Mental Health Research Canada*.

The campaign flag was raised in front of City Hall and we encourage the Westmount community to participate in this initiative to improve the mental health of our youth. Learn more at letstalk.bell.ca
