Invitation to the Art Gallery Selection Committee
Would you like to get involved with the Gallery at Victoria Hall and participate in the selection of artists who will exhibit at the municipal gallery? The City of Westmount is always seeking jury members for the Art Gallery Selection Committee.
The Selection Committee is composed of three or four members of the jury and the Gallery Curator. Please note this citizen involvement opportunity is done on a voluntary basis and does not imply any monetary compensation.
This 1-year mandate requires jury members to study the admissible application files and to participate in a few meetings (1 to 3, videoconference or in person) during the selection process which takes place from April to June. Exceptionally, the members of the jury may be called upon to visit an artist’s studio in order to make the final selection.
Please note that you will only be contacted if you are offered a place on the committee for a given year.
