The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility informs road users that Route 136 will be closed in both directions, between the Turcot interchange and the city centre, during the weekend of May 10. This closure is required in order to continue the repair work on the overhead structures of Route 136 as well as the installation of the metal framework of the Boulevard Saint-Laurent overpass.
The access ramps will be closed 30 minutes before the complete closure of Route 136. Detour routes will be marked with temporary signage. A police presence is also planned to facilitate traffic on detour routes.
Work could be postponed due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints. Therefore, before hitting the road, it is recommended to consult Québec 511, a practical tool for properly planning your trips.
The Ministry thanks road users for their collaboration. For the safety of road users and that of workers, respecting the signage in place is essential.
