Temporary closure of the playground at the Westmount Athletic Grounds for safety-related repairs

The repairs will address safety issues concerning the surface of the playground, including installing a new liner, removing hazards, repairing the wooden border and spreading new wood chips. Playground equipment will also be repaired or updated, and a new swing set will be added. 

We regret having to close a playground during the warmer months, and appreciate your understanding as we put safety first. The City is looking into options for temporary play installations and details will be shared as they become available.
