Westmount is in mourning for a native son.

Raised on Belmont Avenue, Leonard Cohen never forgot his deep spiritual roots at the Shaar Hashomayim, a short walk down the Cote Road. Nor did he forget his more temporal roots in a favourite haunt called Murray Park, almost next door to his house.

Goodbye, Leonard. You showed us where to look “among the garbage and the flowers”.
