Water is restored on Claremont south of Sherbrooke – March 25, 2016

Please take note that the water leak has been repaired and water is restored.

Due to a major leak that surfaced on Claremont south of Sherbrooke, the water service will be shut off on Friday, March 25 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the following streets:

Claremont, between de Maisonneuve and Sherbrooke
Sommerville, between Claremont and Prince Albert
Sherbrooke, between Claremont and the City limit

The issue will be urgently addressed. The water work is scheduled for March 25 with a water closure in effect as of 9 a.m.

Due to the location of the work, Claremont will be closed between Sherbrooke and Sommerville.

STM was advised and the bus lines on Claremont will be deviated.

Notices were distributed to the affected residences.
