Waterworks will require the closure of the water supply on Westmount Avenue between Murray Hill and Belmont Avenue on Thursday, June 23. A conduit that supplies water to King George Park will also be shut down. As a result, the comfort stations at King George Park will be looked and the water fountains will be closed. The comfort stations at King George park will reopen on Friday, June 24, but the water fountains will remain closed until tests confirm that the water is safe to drink.
A preventative boil-water advisory will be issued to the residences in the area that will be affected.
