Ville of Montréal: Complete closure of Route 136 from November 1 to 4
The Ministry of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility informs road users that the Ville-Marie Highway (Route 136) will be completely closed eastbound, between the Turcot interchange and downtown, during the weekend of November 1, 2024. This closure is necessary for ongoing slab repair work.
Traffic disruptions and management:
Ville-Marie Highway (Route 136) eastbound:
- Complete closure: between the Turcot interchange and the entrance from Rue de la Cathédrale, from Friday 11:59 p.m. to Monday 5:00 a.m.
Ville-Marie Highway (Route 136) westbound:
- Closure of the entrance: from Rue du Fort, from Friday 11:00 p.m. to Monday 5:00 a.m.
Default closures at the Turcot interchange:
- Southbound A-15 (Décarie) ramp to R-136 east: from Friday 11:59 p.m. to Monday 5:00 a.m.
- Northbound A-15 ramp to R-136 east: from Friday 11:00 p.m. to Monday 5:00 a.m.
- Entrance from Boulevard des Tanneries to R-136 east: from Friday 11:00 p.m. to Monday 5:00 a.m.
Note: The reserved lane of highway 20 eastbound will remain open. Detours will be marked with temporary signage. Please remain vigilant and plan your trips accordingly.
