Ville de Montréal: closure of exit no. 3 off eastbound Route 136 beginning April 19, 2024

Due to the major renovation of the Ville-Marie Expressway, the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable informs road users that exit no. 3 (Montréal centre-ville / Rue Guy) on eastbound Route 136 will be closed from Friday, April 19 at 11:59 p.m. until the end of autumn. This closure is necessary in order to  resume the repair work on the elevated structures of the Ville-Marie. The work includes building new piers, replacing drainage systems and deck expansion joints, and asphalting.

Obstacles and traffic management

  • Exit no. 3 – Montréal centre-ville / Rue Guy off route 136 eastbound
    • Long-term closure, from Friday, 11:59 p.m., until late fall.
      • IMPORTANT: as this is the last exit before the Ville-Marie Tunnel, vehicles transporting hazardous materials or over 4.4 m in height must use the previous exit on eastbound Route 136, Exit No. 2 – Av. Atwater.

In the event of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints, these closures may be postponed.
