UPDATE: Preventive boil-water advisory in effect on Claremont from Westmount to Windsor, Parkman Place and Willow – June 17, 2019

UPDATE: The preventive boil-water remains in effect.

On June 14, 2019, the water main has been repaired but a preventative boil-water advisory remains in effect for the following areas:

  • Claremont, between Westmount and Windsor.
  • Parkman Place
  • Willow

The City of Westmount asks the public to BOIL THE TAP WATER FOR AT LEAST ONE MINUTE BEFORE CONSUMING IT OR TO USE BOTTLED WATER.

We expect the preventive boil-water advisory to be lifted on Monday, June 17.

If you experience discoloured water, it is recommended to run the tap for at least five (5) minutes from a bathtub or a washbasin to remove any possible sediment.

This advisory remains in effect until the City issues a notice that the boil-water advisory period has ended. We regret any inconvenience caused by this service interruption and thank you for your cooperation during this period.
