Turcot Project: Dismantling of A-720 East – from November 21 to spring 2017
From November 21 until spring 2017, dismantling work of the A-720 east will be carried out. Noise levels higher than usual may occur and vibrations may be felt during certain activities.
Noise and Dust Mitigation Measures
- Setting up physical barriers, if necessary, on lanes of route 136 east (A-720 east)
- Maintaining the temporary noise barriers
- Using water and snow canons and fire nozzles
- Vibration monitoring with seismographs
Tra ffic Hindrance
Important complete closures are required during weekends on the local and highway
networks starting from December 2, 2016 until spring 2017. To get more information

Work Schedule – Dismantling
Week: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.*
Weekend: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.*
*Some low noise operations like cleaning may be carried out outside this period.
