Turcot Project: Complete closure of route 136 east (A-720 east) – from January 27 to 30, 2017

The ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification des transports advises road users that significant closures will be implemented on the road between the Turcot interchange and downtown Montreal during the weekend of January 27th. These barriers are necessary in order to continue the dismantling of the former structures of Autoroute 720 eastbound.

Weekend of January 27th:

  • Closing of Glen Road between Sainte-Catherine and Saint-Jacques streets – from Friday 8 pm to Monday 5 am
  • Full closure of the ramp leading from Autoroute 20 eastbound to Route 136 eastbound (A-720) – from Friday 11:30 a.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
  • Full closure of the ramp leading from Autoroute 15 southbound to Route 136 eastbound (A-720) – from Friday 11:59 a.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

Route 136 eastbound (A-720) will therefore be completely closed to traffic between the Turcot interchange and the entrance from De la Cathédrale and Notre-Dame streets.

Road users will be invited to use Autoroute 15 southbound to Exit # 57-O – 10 West, Montreal to take the Bonaventure Autoroute to downtown.
