Tribute to former mayor, Peter F. Trent by Member of Parliament for Mount Royal, Anthony Housefather

The former mayor, Peter F. Trent and his wife Kathryn Stephenson were honoured in the House of Commons with a tribute by Member of Parliament for Mount Royal, Anthony Housefather. Here is the Facebook post by Mr. Housefather published last May 17: “It was a pleasure to stand in the House of Commons to pay tribute to long-time Westmount Mayor Peter Trent, who stepped down from his position after 30 years in municipal politics. Peter is a close friend and mentor of mine. His contribution to demerger and the restoration of our communities will never be forgotten.”.
