Tour de l’Île 2015: street closures & parking May 31 in Westmount
The 31st annual Tour de l’Île de Montreal will take place Sunday, May 31st 2015. The cycling route through Westmount will affect parking and traffic on the following streets:

- Claremont (south of Sherbrooke)
- Ste-Catherine (eastbound lanes from De Maisonneuve to Glen)
- Glen

Due to this event, street parking will be prohibited on the above mentioned streets from Sunday 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the streets will be closed to traffic from approximately 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
All vehicles that do not respect the ‘No Parking’ signs will be towed by the event promoter Vélo Québec.
Residents living on the above mentioned streets requiring parking are asked to park on adjacent streets. Public Security will therefore tolerate parking on the following adjacent streets beyond the allowable time limits from 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 30th until 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 31st.

If you wish to walk or cycle across the Tour route on the day of the event, Tour de l’île volunteers will be onsite to assist you.
Furthermore, bus service on or crossing the route will be affected by this event. Please consult the STM at http://www.stm.info for information on modifications to the bus routes.
