StreetScan will assess sidewalk conditions beginning September 27

Beginning September 27, and to help improve the conditions of the road network, the City has mandated Canadian-based company StreetScan to assess sidewalk conditions across the territory of Westmount.

StreetScan employs scooter-mounted sensing technologies to help determine the health of each sidewalk and identify defects, including tripping hazards and cracking. This data will help to identify and prioritize repair needs.
