Sculpture stolen at Prince Albert Square

The sculpture La mère et l’enfant (The Mother and the Child), which has stood in Prince Albert Square since April 2022, was stolen on the night of November 27, 2024. The City of Westmount has reported the theft to the Service de police de Montréal (SPVM), and an investigation has been launched.

About the sculpture La mère et l’enfant
The sculpture La mère et l’enfant was created by internationally renowned artist Léa Vivo. The work of art was loaned to Ville Westmount by its owner in spring 2022.
