Repair work to walkways in Westmount Park

We wish to advise you that the City of Westmount will begin repairing some of the concrete walkways in Westmount Park that have become dangerous to navigate. This repair work will start the week of September 28, and will involve blocking off sections of the walkways in order to remove the existing concrete and replace it with new concrete.

This repair work will also require the presence of industrial vehicles and equipment in the park. Weather permitting, the contractor will begin saw cutting on Monday, September 28 and excavating on Tuesday, September 29. We anticipate that the work will be completed within two weeks, weather permitting.
