Reopening of the Playground installations

As of June 4th, 2020, the City of Westmount is reopening all of its playground installations. We ask that everyone abide by the recommended hygiene measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. So please keep a physical distance of 2 metres from each other, avoid gatherings, wear a mask, cough within your elbow, and wash your hands frequently.

Some swings will be off-limits to maintain the 2-metre distance. We recommend that you clean your hands before and after use. In some parks, hand washing stations will be available near the playground installations.

We encourage all parents to bring bottled water and, if possible, hand sanitizer with them into the parks with their children. Please use the garbage cans; keeping our parks clean and safe is all our responsibility. The safety of your children is our main concern. Please have fun and take the necessary precautions.
