2021 POOL SEASON INFORMATION - Guest Passes now available

In accordance with the Quebec government’s health and safety directives related to COVID-19, we are happy to announce that the City of Westmount will be opening the municipal pool for the 2021 summer season on Monday, June 14.

Due to the guidelines set forth by the Direction régionale de la santé publique and aquatic organizations, the pool programming has been modified in order to maximize the safety of the staff and the users of the pool.

Only residents with a Westmount 2021 Facility Membership Card  can make a reservation and may be accompanied by a guest with a valid Guest Pass which must be purchased prior to the reservation date online.  Pool reservations must be made through the following web link: westmount.org/reservation.

The online reservations can be made everyday starting at 12 p.m. up to a maximum of 3 days in advance.

Reservations must be made for each family member individually. For children under 4 years old without a membership card, please contact recreation@westmount.org for their membership number.

If you cannot be present at your reserved time, please cancel your reservation to avoid an absence.  Repeated absences will result in a suspended Facility Card for this system.

The pool access will be via the Lansdowne entrance to the WRC and there will be no changing facilities available, so bathers must arrive with their bathing suits on.

PLEASE NOTE: All pool users aged 12 and over must wear a face mask or face covering when walking through the Westmount Recreation Centre.

Westmount Dolphins Aquatic Club

The WDAC is a parent-volunteer driven summer aquatics program with close ties to the Sports & Recreation Dept. of the City of Westmount.

This program is for youth (7 to 17 years old) who would like to develop aquatics skills, compete at a ‘fun’ level and make lasting friendships. The program is focussed on the four aquatics disciplines: competitive swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water-polo, and runs from June to mid-August. All the activities are based at the Westmount Recreation Centre (WRC) pool. For more information please consult the WDAC website at www.westmountdolphins.org.
