Public Participatory Workshop: Reconstruction of Forden Avenue – September 11

The City of Westmount is planning major infrastructure work on Avenue Forden and Forden Crescent between Avenues Montrose and Westmount over the next two years. The street configuration will be rebuilt and redesigned to meet current needs for safety, mobility, and accessibility, while respecting the existing urban fabric.

This project provides a unique opportunity to comprehensively examine the area in order to:

• improve the capacity of underground infrastructure,
• more effectively manage stormwater runoff,
• and create green spaces.

Residents are invited to share their ideas on the project at a participatory workshop on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Victoria Hall (4626 rue Sherbrooke Ouest) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This workshop will build on topics addressed at a previous workshop held in the spring of 2024.
