MTQ: Eastbound closure of Autoroute Ville-Marie between Turcot interchange and downtown – October 20 to 23, 2023

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable wishes to inform road users that the Autoroute Ville-Marie (Route 136) will be closed eastbound between the Turcot interchange and downtown during the weekend of October 20, 2023. This closure is required for the relocation of a major drain and slab repair work. Some congestion is expected.

Impediments and traffic management
Routes 136 (Autoroute Ville-Marie) eastbound (towards downtown)

  • Complete closure between Turcot interchange and entrances from Rue de la Cathédrale and Boulevard Robert-Bourassa, from Friday 11:59 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m;

Routes 136 (Autoroute Ville-Marie) westbound (towards Dorval and the airport)

  • Closure of the Lucien-L’Allier entrance on Saturday, from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Lane closure in the area of the entrance from rue du Fort, Saturday, from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Default closures in the Turcot interchange

  • A-15 NORTH ramp to R-136 EAST, from Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m;
  • A-20 EST / R-136 EST in the interchange, from Friday 11:59 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m;
  • Entrance from Pullman Blvd. to R-136 EAST, from Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

Detours will be marked with temporary signage.

Please note:

  • In the Turcot interchange, the ramp leading from the A-15 (Décarie) SOUTH to the R-136 EAST will remain open, but road users will use a marked corridor leading to exit no. 2 – Av. Atwater.

Work may be postponed, extended or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints.
