Lifting operation of the ice resurfacers at the Westmount Recreation Centre on November 13

Please take note that the resurfacer lifting operation will require the closure of Lansdowne Avenue between Ste-Catherine and De Maisonneuve on Friday, November 13, 2020 (note that the bike path on De Maisonneuve will remain accessible) :

• Location: 4675 Ste-Catherine Street West (lift on Lansdowne Avenue, closure between Ste-Catherine and De Maisonneuve)
• Date of work: November 13, 2020 starting at 7 a.m.
• Duration: 1 day (8 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
• Contractor: Grues Maurice Gendron Ltée/Zamboni Robert Boileau Inc./Public Works (buildings)
• Job Description: Lifting and handling with a crane to replace the two ice resurfacers in the WRC skating rinks with two new resurfacers. Note that 3 flagmen will be present during the operation to ensure a security perimeter on the roof (green spaces) and to ensure local traffic for Lansdowne Avenue residents on each side.
